A carved giltwood mirror, George II, c. 1735

  

The rectangular mirror plate within a bead moulded inner frame, flanked by panels of husks and in a carved moulded outer frame with scroll and leaf carved lower corners and squared outset upper corners decorated with acanthus leaves, the scrolled, swan neck cresting centered by a plumed cartouche.
