The rectangular top with finely carved lotus leaf ebony border, with original leather writing surface, the frieze with three drawers on each side and dummy drawers at each end, retaining the original turned ebony handles and ebony mouldings around the drawers, resting on four turned lotus leaf legs with spoked brass castors.
