A Regency Rosewood and Parcel Gilt Circular Centre Table

on a fluted column with trefoil base and paw feet on casters, in the manner of Marsh and Tatham, after Henry Holland.
A very similar table was sold at the ‘Property from Two Ducal Collections, Woburn Abbey, Bedford’ Christie’s house sale, 20-21 September 2004, lot 1150. It is known that Henry Holland collaborated with cabinet makers William Marsh and Thomas Tatham in the design of closely related tables for Southill Park, Bedfordshire (G. Jackson Stops, Southill Park, Country Life, 28 April 1994, fig 11).
