A Small Scale Late 19th, Early 20th Century Eagle Kazak Carpet
This small-scale ‘eagle’ or ‘sunburst’ Kazak rug, most likely originating from the Karabagh district, features a striking double medallion motif in earthy brick reds, clay blue and cream. Some darkening has occurred in the central part of the carpet, but otherwise it has developed a pleasant overall patina.
