A Superb George II Carved Walnut and Feather Banded Bureau Bookcase, attributed to Giles Grendey

The scroll cornice above a pair of shaped mirror doors enclosing shelves and pigeon holes, the bass with a rectangular fall enclosing a fitted interior with false book bindings and four long drawers below on bracket feet. English, circa 1740.
