Reproduction Fireplaces

A Jamb reproduction fireplace is well-drawn, architecturally sound and carved from the finest stone available, be it Italian marble or English limestone. In the design process, Jamb take its cues primarily from the eighteenth century, though some pieces belong to the early nineteenth and, with the Art Deco pieces, the early twentieth.

In addition to the fireplaces available on this website, Jamb offers a bespoke chimneypiece service taking into consideration form, scale and materials to suit its surroundings, as well as bespoke design details such as symbolic historical or familial motifs.

Antique Chimneypieces

Jamb’s inventory of fine antique fireplaces is one of the most extensive in England, including pieces of historical importance and great beauty spanning Georgian and Regency periods through to French and Italian. Jamb acquires fireplaces that are the ultimate embodiment of their form, whether this form happens to be a robust, Jones-inspired pilaster jamb or the delicate acanthus of an Adam frieze.
