A George III Carved Pine and Limewood Chimneypiece.

An extremely finely carved late 18th-century chimneypiece, the shelf is supported by a lamb-tongue motif, while acanthus leaves separate the shelf from the frieze. The central tablet shows a vase with fruit and foliage in Arabesque style that continues on the frieze and ends with classical urns on the corner blocks. Ribbons hold vines that gently fall down the jambs while a flowery pattern frames the opening.
